Our inaugural Catalyst Awards 2025 recognised partners whose commitment has turned potential into performance and amplified our impact at scale.
We are shining a spotlight on our award winners to unpack exactly why they were recognised and explore the tangible outcomes our partnership is delivering. We are proud to celebrate The National Treasury Jobs Fund. Join us as we dive into their award-winning work and the real-world impact they continue to unlock through our collaboration
A launchpad for impact
Some partnerships accelerate everything they touch. The National Treasury Jobs Fund (NTJF), CAPACITI’s longest-standing strategic partner since inception, is one of them. As the inaugural CAPACITI Catalyst Award recipient, the Jobs Fund has combined trust, shared vision and bold enablement to help CAPACITI innovate at pace, bridge the digital skills gap and grow inclusive employment.
The CAPACITI Catalyst award honours a partner that sparks tangible change that accelerates transformation, drives collaboration and ignites potential across the ecosystem.
Partnership Journey
From our earliest phase to today, the CAPACITI and Jobs Fund partnership has focused on demand‑aligned delivery: co‑designing programmes with industry, building sustainable career pathways, increasing female inclusion in technology, and widening access, including in rural contexts, so talent can thrive where it lives. With a network of demand and funding partners, the Jobs Fund has enabled CAPACITI to test quickly, learn what works and scale successful outcomes.

Chanel Oldfield, Chief Executive at CAPACITI, celebrates the Jobs Fund partnership for shaping a future-ready workforce built on skills, innovation, and leadership.
The Impact
- At the start of our relationship, CAPACITI had one small office in Cape Town, servicing a handful of candidates. With the support of the Jobs Fund, we have scaled to 4 locations throughout the country to enable access and opportunity to more.
- Two hubs were launched in Gqeberha and Hazyview to service the high-demand BPO industry and allow local youth access to big-city opportunities, without having to leave their support systems behind.
- Across phases, the partnership has accelerated 8 000+ opportunities, culminating in R460+ million in salaries earned. Through the ongoing partnership between CAPACITI, the Jobs Fund and its network of demand and funding partners, a new workforce is being built – one that is skilled, innovative and ready to lead.
Reflections from Najwah Allie-Edries, Head at The Jobs Fund at National Treasury South Africa
“I want to express our deep appreciation for this longstanding and mutually enriching partnership. At the heart of our collaboration is a shared belief that investing in young people is not just a moral imperative, it’s the smartest investment we can make.
When we support youth with the right skills, mentorship and opportunities, we don’t just change individual lives, we uplift families, we strengthen communities, and we build a more inclusive economy. Our partnership with CAPACITI has been one of shared purpose, mutual learning, and deep impact. It’s a relationship built on trust, innovation, and common vision to unlock the potential of young people and create real sustainable pathways into this economy”
